Naturally Dip Dyed Biodegradable Paper Cups
I loved to tie-dye when I was a kid, so when I saw this project on Design*Sponge I was mesmerized. A. The colors are beautiful. B. They did it with biodegradable cups. And C. They used all natural dyes made from veggies, plants and flowers. Frankly, I was more interested in learning the art of dyeing with all natural plant matter, but the cups were a super cute idea for entertaining. This tutorial used bearded iris, beets, dahlias, yarrow and eucalyptus to get some stunning pinks and purples and it would be so much fun to try it on fabric and paper for use in my encaustic work.
