Incredible Leaf Carving Art

It's fall and the leaves are dropping off the trees quickly. Too bad I don't have the skill to carve amazing pictures into the leaves like this group of Chinese artisans from Nature's Art. I mean, are you kidding me? How in the world do they carve such intricate pictures into delicate leaves and keep the veins?! Actually, they do provide a pdf with their step by step process, but I'm still boggled at the carving.

Their catalog includes carvings of anything from Oriental art to the female form, travel, children, religious themed, animals, and more. There is no painting or printing involved in the making of these amazing works of art. They use leaves from the Chinar tree, which can be found in India, Pakistan and China and resembles a Maple leaf.
